关于计划BB ReachOut 2008-青少年抵挡HIV/艾滋病是一项有马来西亚少年军和马来西亚防治艾滋病理事会联办并获得马来西亚卫生部支持的运动。目的是在2008年5月至12月期间向10万名马来西亚青少年传达，灌输与教育关于艾滋病的知识。这项计划由马来西亚少年军和马来西亚防止艾滋病理事会计划。希望能在2008年至2010年度预防艾滋病策略中达到"减少青少年(15至24岁)的艾滋病感染率并缔造一个防止艾滋病传播的环境"的目的。 ABOUT THE PROJECTBB ReachOut 2008-Youth Against HIV/AIDS is a joint initiative between The Boys' Brigade in Malaysia(BBM)and The Malaysia AIDS Council(MAC)and in association with The Ministry of Health of Malaysia(MOH)-to create awareness and educate 100,000 youth adout HIV/AIDS from May-Dec2008.Through this initiative,MAC through BBM hopes to achieve one of the strategies under the MAC Strategic Plan 2008-2010 that is to "Reduce HIV Vulnerability & Infection among Young People(Ages 15-24)and Creating A Supportive Environment for HIV Prevention for Youth". .ExternalClass .EC_hmmessage P {padding:0px;} .ExternalClass body.EC_hmmessage {font-size:10pt;font-family:Tahoma;} ～讲解是廉价的，但可以拯救无价的生命。~Talk is cheep.But it can save priceless lives.～预防胜于治疗。。。~Prevent because there is No Cure... AIDS艾滋病 什么是HIV(人类免疫缺陷病毒)？HIV是导致艾滋病的病毒。HIV袭击人体的免疫系统，导致人体衰弱进而难以对抗疾病。一个被证实感染HIV的人被称为HIV阳性者(HIV+)。 What is HIV(Human Immunodeficiency Virus)?HIV is the VIRUS that causes AIDS.HIV attacks the body's immune system,making it weak and less able to fight off diseases.When a person is comfirmed to have been infected by HIV,the person is said to be HIV-positive(HIV+).______________________________________________________________ 什么是艾滋病(获得性免疫缺陷综合症)？艾滋病是HIV阳性者因为免疫系统受破坏所引发的的种疾病的统称。 What is AIDS(Acquired Immune Deficiency Syndrome)?AIDS is the name given to a group of illnesses which occur in HIV+ people as a result of a weakened immune system.______________________________________________________________ HIV如何传播？HIV只能通过液体传播，如血液、精液、射精前分泌物、阴道分泌物，包括经血。HIV会通过以下途径传播： 1.与HIV感染者进行性行为(阴道、肛交或口交)。口交并非安全避免被HIV/艾滋病感染，因为若牙龈流血或口部受损都会有受感染的风险。 2.与HIV感染者共用针筒。 3.输入被感染的血液或血制品。 4.受感染孕妇在怀孕期间、生产过程或哺乳时将病毒传染给孩子。 How is TRANSMITTED?HIV is only infectious in body fluids such as blood,semen,pre-ejaculation fluid and vaginal fluid including menstrual blood and is transmitted:- 1.Through sexual intercourse(vaginal,anal or oral sex)with a HIV infected person.Oral sex IS NOT safe from HIV/AIDS transmission because if the mouth has bleeding gums or sores,there is risk of getting infected. 2.Through sharing a syringe with a HIV infected person. 3.Through transfusion of HIV infected blood and blood products. 4.Through transmission from a HIV infected mother to her child during pregnancy,child birth or through breast feeding.______________________________________________________________ 您如何保护自己？1.不与背景不明的人进行(发生)性行为，例如:陌生人或性工作者。不发生婚前性行为。2.限制自己只与一位为受感染的性伴侣进行性行为。例如:配偶。3.当您不确定性伴侣的健康状况时，不论是通过阴道、肛交或口交，都必须正确地使用安全套。4.不共用针筒。不毒品说"不"。 How can you PROTECT yourself?1.By not having sex with person(s) whose background is unknown to you ie strangers or sex workers.Abstain from sex before marriage.2.By limiting your sexual activities to only one uninfected partner ie your spouse.3.By using a CONDOM correctly during sexual intercourse(vaginal,anal or oral sex)when you are unsure of your partner's health status.4.By not sharing needles & syringes. Say"no"to drugs.______________________________________________________________ 您如何确定自己是否受感染？在感染期间，将不会呈现许多病症。所以，唯有通过HIV抗体检测方法确诊。 How do you KNOW if you are INFECTED?In the early stages of HIV infection,there are very few signs or symptoms.So,the only way to be sure is to take the HIV Antibody Test.______________________________________________________________ HIV/艾滋病能治疗吗？目前还没有根治HIV/艾滋病的药物。但是，对抗HIV的药物能达到缓解症状，延长扩散及改善HIV/艾滋病患生活平质的目的。 Is there a CUSE for HIV/AIDS?There is still no cure for HIV/AIDS but there are anti-HIV drugs that slow the progression of the virus thus prolonging and improving the quality of life of people living with HIV/AIDS. 预防 是唯一途径 若每个人都获得正确的资讯来防止传染， 我们就能缓慢遍布世界的流行病-HIV/艾滋病。 只有您自己有能力保护自己免得被HIV/艾滋病传染。 您能通过进行安全性行为或不共用针筒避免被感染。 您需要把这项重要的讯息传播给亲朋戚友。
PREVENTION IS THE KEY We can slow down the worldwide HIV/AIDS epidemic if everyone had the right information to PREVENT INFECTION. YOU and ONLY YOU can protect yourself from getting infected with HIV/AIDS. You can aviod infection by practicing safer sex or not sharing needles or syringes. You need to spread this important message to your friends and to your loved ones.
